Neglect.

Ok, I know it has been a while but summer is ALWAYS busy... we are now into september where I might get back into a routine. I've started going to the gym with Cody... one day down...hahaha that's a start. I've just finished baking the BEST pumpkin chocolate chip bread EVER. And I even started going to wedding receptions again, two in the same day! HAH and those are thefirst since my own...ok wait I went to one last september..but that was more of just a family dinner.

This 'school' year seems its going to be a lot more productive for me than last. I'm feeling better about myself and my talents. I think I'm even going to try to make time for some sewing...hahah we'll see how that goes... I also have been doing some research on how to use my beloved
camera!! I just have all of these great ideas that I hope I follow through with!

Here are some photo's of what has been going on with us lately:

Cody's self haircut...he was not impressed with me taking pictures of this. But after all the arguing of him trying to get me to cut it HIS way and on HIS time, he deserved it! He's lucky I still cut it that night and didn't make him go the whole next day with it like that!

MAGRATH DAYS!!! This was how happy we were to be going to the parade, bright and early!

Some camping down in the States and boating with the Gibb clan...good times on the tube.

Oh ya, and we also took a HUGE detour through Glacier National Park...we got to see these little fella's and Logan's Pass!

and last but NOT least... my pumpkin chocolate chip bread!! mmmmm SOOO good!!!

ok time for bed, I really shouldn't even have a blog because I never go on here unless I really want to share something...like this hahah

JUST One of those days...

Ok so I've been contemplating over this post for the past few days...weeks actually. I just couldn't find a good way to write it without coming out and just saying it like it is...without it looking like another one of those "feel sorry for me posts" BUT I can't help it... so here it is and you'd BETTER FEEL SORRY FOR ME.

Lately I've been feeling neglected. By everyone. I looked up the definiton of neglect: Not pay proper attention to; disregard. And disregarded describes exactly how I feel. Throughout the years you go through different experiences and you find out who really cares and who doesn't. It's good to have those true friends and family, but you look back at some of the people you spent so much time with or someone you got along so well with and then in the end you aren't really friends anymore. And what was all of that time and effort for? Nothing.

I've been trying to set things right or forgive and forget and so far it's just backfired. Somethings just go on for so long that you don't even know where it all started and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it. I'm beginning to realize that I'm wasting my time and I should give up. Those people that I may have WRONGED have just disregarded me. I'm being ignored.

I'm so excited about this weekend. Now that I'm "From Magrath" I feel so excited for Magrath Days and seeing all of the family. It's been a while since I've seen a lot of Cody's Aunts/Uncles/Cousins but it'll be good to spend time with some family. I'm hoping that the hype of it all will turn my summer around and I can just forget about all those worries that I've been thinking about.

Anyways, Since I got invited to pinterest...as everyone else has...I've been wasting a lot of time on it. I guess I'll just make a new board and post things that I like in it....that should make me feel better!

Ok now that it's all off my mind and out here on the web...I promise to make a more positive post next, for all those "readers" out there HAH!

HAPPY WEDNESDAY

P.S.

I also just wanted to share my CRAVE right now...

YES!!! Chocolate covered RAISINS!!!!

STORMY WEATHER!!

I just LOVE thunder and lightening storms. I wish I had my own house where I could sit on the front porch and just watch the lightening strike through out the sky. I love when the power goes out and we get to pretend it's the "olden days" where we light candles (or use flashlights). No internet connection and no TV. Just the quiet and nothing to consume your time! These past couple nights have been a thrill. It's just so exciting when the lights flicker and you don't know whether you'll have to go to work the next day or not. Secretly I always hope the power will stay out all night long and all morning so I won't have to go to work... if Cody were to read this post he would probably kill me! As much as I love the lightening, I so badly hope that it doesn't hail and wreck the crops!! Anyways, for all those storm lovers out there, enjoy it while it lasts!! hah xoxo

Get with the program....

Yes, I realize that I created this blog and then never wrote in it again. All of you followers thought you were going to have something fun to read from me every hear and there and here I left you hanging.... I missed Halloween (don't be sad or anything because we didn't even dress up), I skipped Christmas...but if you check my facebook I did post some pictures. blah blah blah I could go on forever about the things I've missed but here's the update:

We have now moved from Raymond to Magrath. The move has been great and people have been so welcoming! We live in a sixplex that everyone here knows as "the seniors place"...it really is only Seniors and us. There is one guy above us named Andre. He's a frenchman and he's crazy, and his wife's name is Roxanna. I haven't ever met her but Andre has been over a few times to say hello and introduce himself, he brought cookies once, and he also showed us some of the 'secrets' of our place! We're all moved in, but not completely organized yet. Hopefully I can keep up this blogging and soon enough when we're all organized I will post some pictures!

I know this was short and sweet, but that's all for now! Ta-Ta!
